We are so proud of our students who participated in the county science fair. Second graders won several awards -- Silas Hasebein 2nd place, Gunner Fuqua 3rd place, Kannon Johnson 4th place, and Kayden Bray (not pictured) - 5th place.
Second grader, Emmory Morrison won the Botany award.
Third graders also won some special awards: Aubree Tolbert- Research Award, Isabella Morrison - Botany Award, Hatti Bridgmon - Zoology Award, and Eli Simpson - Art Award

The Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2 visited us this week for Read Across America activities.







Our lunch ladies knocked it out of the park for Read Across America Week! We love and appreciate them so much!

We will celebrate Read Across America week March 4-8. We're looking forward to a fun-filled week!


Order forms have been sent home for Hawks for Christ t-shirts. Hawks for Christ meets each Thursday at 7:35. T-shirts will be $10. Forms and money are due this Friday, March 1.

Mrs. Oliver's 7th Grade Math class learned the difference between population vs random sample and used random samples to predict populations using a fun Skittles activity today.

CATA Tour
Our 8th graders had the opportunity to visit CATA today for a tour of the different options available to them once they are in high school!! We have a number of students very interested in attending next year!!
We want to give a special "Thank You" to CATA and our guides!! We had a great time!
